Product Description
Features 5 Year Bottle Fully Adjustable regulator Fully rebuildable regulator Lifetime Limited Warranty on Regulator User replaceable bonnet New V3.0 Fill Nipple provides greater longevity

Product Description
The 48 is Pure Energy's entry-level air system. This system combines a compact bottle and the top-of-the-line Pure Energy Reactor regulator. The Pure Energy Reactor regulator has a preset output pressure set between 800-900 PSI. This air-system works great with any marker on the market, from Piranhas to Angels. Because Pure Energy Reactor regulators are now re-buildable, this system is one of the most user-friendly, screw-in air systems in paintball. On most markers you can expect to get 400-600 shots from a full fill. With the CFT piston and a streamlined setup, this air system is both extremely consistent over the chronograph and has very little drop off as you shoot the gas out of the tank (life of the fill). These are attributes sometimes found in much more expensive air systems packaged into a smaller, easier-to-use, screw-in system.

Feature Detail:

  • 48 cubic inches aluminum bottle
  • Consistent flow technology piston
  • Mil-spec Belleville springs
  • Dual safety rupture plugs for both bottle and downstream safety
  • Mechanical gauge
  • Nickel plated brass bonnet
  • Certified fill nipple and dual locking set screws

Method of Operation:
Preset screw-in air system

Bottle:
48 cubic inches aluminum

Power Supply:
Compressed air or nitrogen

First off, this isn't a "Kid's Review." I'm 17 and I don't have a credit card, therefore I can't do that Real Name bunk that you have to do before submitting a review.

Yes, in the picture, it shows a carbon-fiber wrapped tank. However, if you would've researched before you bought (derrrr!) you would've known that very few 3000 psi tanks are carbon-fiber wrapped. I can only think of one or two that are (there's a 68ci 3k tank made by crossfire (I think) that's fiber wrapped). It even says in the product description that it is made of aluminum composite materials. Jesus, it's not PMI that should be ashamed, it's you two. Wow, you just go ahead and buy w/o researching? That's really lazy and there's no excuse for that.

Even though PMI Pure Energy isn't your best bet for a low capacity N2 tank (Crossfire is the best choice, imo), I'm going to give it 5 stars to boost it's average rating out of this moronic rut.

5 out of 5 stars great Cheap tank   November 8, 2008

This is a great cheap tank and a great alternative to an expensive carbonfiber. a little heavier and not as big but much better than co2 or a 72/30. i recomend this to any new players or anyone who isnt ready to buy an expensive lighter tank.

5 out of 5 stars Great HPA Tank for those on a realistic budget   March 15, 2010

I absolutely love this tank...I picked mine up at a local store for under $50 and I am completely happy with it. Solid construction, don't have to worry about covers, and works great off a remote line setup. Carbon fiber tanks are expensive and fragile, this tank is sturdy and ready for the weekend warrior, with a real life budget.
